Elsewhere in the Peak you will discover the village of Edale (start of the Pennine Way) just along the road with famous Castleton (show caves & Christmas lights) even closer, less than 10 minutes by car.
Our 'sister hotel' The Peak Hotel is located in Castleton
too so you'll be spoiled for choice! Check out The Anchor in Tideswell
as well - Rick's 3rd Derbyshire pub, a fantastic rum and steak bar!
With tea-rooms and excellent pub-food served 7 days a week, all day every day you're not going to go hungry at the Old Hall. Couple to this our range of cask-marque ales, malt whiskies, open fires and three beer festivals each year and you should be getting an idea of what we're all about.
Quality rooms, quality food & drink at affordable prices in our cosy pub in a beautiful part of the UK's oldest national park.
"Lovely country pub and hotel in ideal position for walks in the Derbyshire hills. We pretty much sampled all the facilities, coffee shop, bar restaurant and B&B and could not fault a single thing, lovely roaring log fires cosy friendly atmosphere and staff so helpful. The bedroom were very clean and comfortable and furnished in a suitable style for this type of property, lovely Four Poster bed (only thing that was missing was the curtains round the bed). I loved the fact that we had a cafetiere and fresh coffee along with the usual sachets & biscuits. The food in the restaurant was very good, we had the steak and ale pie an the meat was very tender and plenty of it with delicious rich gravy, we didn't sample the desserts as we were too full! Breakfast is served in the coffee shop attached to the Hotel and again excellent choice an quality."
